U.S. Senator Dick Durbin and U.S. Senator Mark Kirk announced legislation that encourages states to follow Illinois’ lead by improving school access to life-saving epinephrine auto-injectors, like the EpiPen, to be used if students have severe systemic allergic reactions during a news conference at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago on Monday, November 14. Durbin and Kirk were joined by children with food allergies and their parents.
