Illinois Congressional Delegation and Governor Quinn

[WASHINGTON, D.C.] – U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) and members of the Illinois Congressional Delegation met with the Governor of Illinois, Pat Quinn in Senator Durbin’s Washington office. During the meeting, Durbin and Quinn discussed various Illinois priorities including the extension of unemployment insurance. Without quick action by Congress federal unemployment insurance will expire at the end of the year.
