Subsidies for Big Oil

Chicago, IL -- U.S. Senator Dick Durbin discussed legislation that would eliminate $4 billion in subsidies per year for big oil companies and divert the savings to offset the deficit. The five largest oil companies recorded more than $30 billion in profits during the first three months of this year alone.
