U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) met with representatives from the Department of State, USAID, and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to discuss the current state of affairs in Syria and the plight of refugees fleeing the country. Nearly four million, half of which are children, have fled the bloody civil war in Syria.
