Wheaton Immigration

U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL)) visited Wheaton College to brief a cross section of community leaders on their efforts to enact comprehensive immigration reform and hear from members of the business, labor, law enforcement, health care and faith communities about why reform is needed on Monday, August 12. Durbin was joined by several panelists, including Doug Whitley, President and CEO of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce; Jorge Ramirez, President of the Chicago Federation of Labor; Matt Soerens from World Relief; and Lake County Sheriff Mark Curran.
