WWII Service Medal Ceremony

U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) presented Chicago resident Joe Hoppe, a World War II veteran, with several medals he earned while serving the U.S. Navy on Monday, April 13 in Chicago.  When Durbin met Mr. Hoppe at a seniors forum last year, he learned the veteran had had trouble obtaining the medals he had earned in combat.
