Durbin Meets With Leaders From McLean County In Washington
[WASHINGTON, DC] – U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) today met with members of the McLean County Chamber of Commerce to discuss local transportation and economic development priorities. A photo from today’s meeting is available here.
“The McLean County Chamber of Commerce serves as an important local voice for the business and community interests of the entire region,” Durbin said. “I was happy to meet with some of its members today in Washington and will continue to work with them on efforts to create jobs and spur local economic development.”
Attendees of today’s meeting include: Carl Olson, Executive Director of the Central Illinois Regional Airport; Bob Miller, Vice President of Operations for Advocate Bromenn Medical Center; Scott Preston, Councilman for the Town of Normal; and Todd Lowery, Government and Public Affairs, McLean County Chamber of Commerce.
