Durbin Statement After Announcement That Secretary Duncan Will Step Down in December

[NEW YORK, N.Y.] – U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) today released the following statement after President Obama announce U.S. Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan, will step down in December.  Durbin introduced Duncan to the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee during his confirmation hearing in January 2009.
