Thornton Reservoir Opening

U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) spoke at the ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, September 1 for the Thornton Composite Reservoir. The reservoir will hold 7.9 billion gallons of water and benefit 556,000 people in 14 communities throughout the South Side of Chicago and south suburbs.
